The Library of Whisper and Sleep presents an imagined future library having a collection of information related to seven endangered plants in Korea. Field sounds recorded in their natural habitats and the text written by botanist Nam Soohwan are placed on the under the table. For the artist, a library means a vast universe and a communication station bridging the past and the future in the present. In this future library where there is only cataloged information as if following Kitter(Friedrich Kitter, 1943~)'s claim that all can be reduced to the switching on and off, visitors hear the whispers of those on the verge of disappearing.
