The root of Fa, La, Thur., Sat. sprouted from the death of a young man.
The faint traces he left behind
became a poem,
became sound,
became color,
became a path,
became a direction
his death not becoming a period,
but becoming things.
Asking whetherthose things can become tangible presences in life.
Trying to give birth to his things,
so that they may exist a little longer than his short life. (Artist Note)
파라목토의 뿌리는 한 청년의 죽음에서 싹튼 시.
청년이 남긴 미미한 흔적이
시가 되었다가
음이 되고,
색이 되고,
길이 되고,
방향이 되어
죽음이 마침표가 아니라 사물이 되는 일.
느낄 수 있는 삶의 사물이 될 수 있는지 묻는 일.
그의 짧은 삶보다 조금 더 길게 존재할 그의 사물을 잉태시켜 보는 일. (작가노트)

can change scraps
cannot change scraps
tighten your eyes what you see
drunk hermit
hid behind confused eyelid
that night
getting lost spot
blunt pain
hidden cries
what was it
shoved died
everyone’s dead
eating corpses to survive deadly battle
am living
let us live
until the door closes
am on my way back
lighting the star mirror world
from a drop of water
from animal chasing the time of human
their final moment…
only ordinary sound clear
the city discarded
youngster’s rewritten courage and plea
it is to remember that act

바꿀 수 있는 부스러기를
바꿀 수 없는 부스러기를
눈을 조이면 보이는 것들
술 취한 은둔자ﾠ
혼란한 눈꺼풀 뒤에ﾠ숨은
그 밤
길을 잃는 곳
무뚝뚝한 상처ﾠ
숨어버린 울음
무엇이었을까
치여 죽었다ﾠ
한꺼번에 죽었어
주검 먹고 살아남은 사투
살고 있다
살게 해주세요
문 닫을 때 까지
돌아가는 중이에요
별을 비추는 거울 세계가ﾠ
한 방울의 물에서ﾠ
짐승에서 사람의 시간으로 쫒던ﾠ
이들의 마지막 순간은...
평범한 소리만 또렷했네
도시가 버린
청년의 다시 쓴 용기와 당부
기억 하는 거다 그 짓을
