and try making it

The sculpture made from what I have drawn of a flower


casts a shadow like the original flower

The shadow of the original flower


falls when the flower withers,


but the sculpted flower does not wither,


so the shadow of the flower does not fall

I look at the shadow


of the sculpted flower


made from a drawing of a flower

Inside that shadow, words gather

The gathered words are woven

A flower becomes text

I read the text

Inside the text,
a flower appears

Inside the writing about a flower,


before I realize it,

the flower is

my emotion,


my thought,


myself

꽃이 핀다

꽃을 본다

꽃을 갖고 싶다

꽃을 곁에 둔다

꽃을 그려 본다

꽃을 그린 것을 본다

꽃을 그린 것을 갖고 싶다

꽃을 그린 것을 곁에 둔다

꽃을 그린 것을 다시 그려 본다

꽃을 그린 그림을 보고

다시 그린 것을 보다

그것을 만들어 본다

꽃을 그린 것을 보고 만든 조각도

원래 꽃처럼 그림자가 생긴다

원래 꽃 그림자는 꽃이 질 때 같이 지지만, 

조각꽃은 지지 않기에 그 그림자도 지지 않는다

꽃을 그린 그림을 보고 만든 조각꽃의 그림자를 본다

그 그림자 안에 말이 고인다

고인 말들이 엮어진다

꽃이 글이 된다

글을 읽는다

글 속에 꽃이 보인다

꽃에 대한 글 속에 어느새 

꽃은

나의 감정, 

나의 사유,

나 자신.
