Woher kommt das? Where does it come from?
Woher kommt das? Where does it come from?

Within this highly artificial architectural environment, the installation presents the passage of time through living plants as they emerge, grow, decline, and disappear. Plants themselves are complex yet highly ordered assemblages of form. The work focuses on the c

2016-1916 sorok island 2016-1916 소록도, 2016, photo documentary project A photographic project created to mark the centenary of Sorokdo, which was established during the Japanese colonial period as an isolated settlement for people with Hansen’s disease. The project captures the island’s distinctive mise-en-scène, formed by the historical scars of persecution endured by its residents during the colonial period, the ruins of modern architecture, and the natural environment pres
